After another short period, the slimevr gui crashes Please follow the handy calibration guide or instructions in the server. Then, it cascades into crashing the slimevr server, and steamvr as well
This crash also causes the port 27062 error, which means that the computer must be fully restarted if i want to use steamvr at all after the crash.
Check that you do not have two copies of the slimevr server running, as only one of them will show trackers connected If only one server is running, this is most likely a firewall issue, go to slimevr server folder and run firewall.bat as administrator. But slimevr is still showing a relatively low ping and high tps for each tracker I have to restart steamvr to get things back to normal
This issue only occurs when using slimevr tracker emulation mode I have tried to google it but found nothing related. It's been reported a couple times now that there is very strange behaviour with the gui crashing on startup Please see the attached files for logs
Some workarounds seem to be
Delete %localappdata%\slimevr.dev before launching the gui close google chrome before launching the gui This guide should help you with installing the slimevr server and getting things set up so that everything is functioning as it should Install the latest slimevr installer So i think that there is some left over data, after i formatted windows without losing my files, that slimevr server uses since i did not get the initial setup screen when installing the program
Is there any way to fully reset the program from the start? This problem appered after 0.12.1 update in slimevr server So they are unusable right now (hip drift is still there) I wasted so much time with them
