If i download a.zip file from a web browser and save it in the download folder kodi 20.2 does not appear in the download folder when i go to install from zip file, it's like there is nothing in the folder where i would have just saved a.zip too I enabled debug logging and pressed the page down/up keys which moved. I've tried a few things to install simple iptv pvr through software centre and through the command line but it never shows up.
My server (dvbviewer) is on a separate pc, and it does take a while to start up if i reboot the server That's inevitable, everything can't just start instantaneously So by the sound of it you need to either delay starting kodi until your backend is up and running (which could be done by changing line 2 of the script) or start kodi with pvr disabled Personally i don't like my pvr clients.
I’m a bit confused about a dlna server I know you can run some on a nas like plex or jellyfin I thought kodi could be a server but some say no it’s a player Is it a server and if so how would one use it

I deleted it and installed again from homebrew store but results didn't change I wanted inform you and also. But while playing any show or movie, audio stops at every 10mins or so and the video continues Only way to bring back the audio is to go back and reopen the same show and forward to last watched position
Any idea how to fix it?

I'm trying to map the ir remote channel up/down buttons to nextscene/previousscene however i can't tell what is being seen by kodi when i press those buttons on the remote
