Since wikipedia is open source, there are many ways to download the entire database listed here with instructions, including an sql database, html dumps, and anywhere else you can download it, with slimmed down versions specifically to fit on a flash drive or a set of dvds, or downloads without images/less popular pages in order to make the download smaller
