I uninstalled the windows app and redownloaded, i tried downloading earlier versions of the desktop app, i've erased my iphone and reinstalled using the move to ios app, and i tried a fresh install using my ipad instead of the move to ios app and backed up my chat history from icloud so it was a clean apple install, and nothing has worked. And apple asked to re install the update and i did but that didn't help The only solution i found to successfully duplicate your iphone whatsapp account, to a functional client on the ipad was via whatsapp web
