At&t has started a cruise package so you can use your phone while cruising without incurring all the roaming fees, etc Any insight would be great I was just pricing it, and it is cheaper than the social media package on carnival
India (@indiavvsofficial) : GRAMBADDIES
Has anyone used the at&t package yet Has anyone every used the at&t cruise package on a ship How did it work for you?
After talking to an at&t rep over chat, it sounds like the at&t package is only good for talk and text at sea, but if i want to go to cnn and read an article, or check the weather, i have to use carnival's plan
After reading some articles here, assuming it's on a covered island, i can get unlimited talk and. At&t has three cruise ship plans that can be used on eligible ships and in eligible ports 1) a calling and texting plan $50 for 30 days gives you 50 minutes talk time and unlimited send texts, 2) a calling, data and texting plan
$100 for 30 days gives you 200mb data, unlimited talk and unlimited send text, and 3) a $3.00 per minute plan. At&t considers usvi as stateside so calls don't roam to bvi towers except maybe on the far east end of st john I always turn off roaming on my phones so it can't use other towers. Starting in april 2025, at&t revamped its international land and cruise packages
I never used the at&t cruise package before because i was concerned about the data overages
That is now gone (although they slow you to a crawl after 500mb) I have an android phone and carnival blocks wifi. We have a 44 person family cruise this summer, alaska inside passage route, roundtrip vancouver to juneau & back On other ocean cruises, we all usually turn on airplane mode, & a few will pay for the cruise ship's wifi
But just wondering if there's good tmobile, verizon, or att 5g voice. With at&t international day pass, you can talk, text and use your plan data in over 210 destinations for $10 per day We haven't sailed in 6 years and we leave in a few days Long ago, we never got wifi, we could use our att phone without issue
Now i know att offers a cruise plan for $60 for the month but i don't know if we need the ships wifi plan in order for this to work
At $60 it is cheaper than the wifi plans I need to text with the kids while gone and maybe check on my ebay business I am once again weighing the options of going with the at&t cruise internet package versus adding extra ncl internet minutes We will be on the october 6 sailing of the prima and have several ports but i still like to be safe on board
Last time we had both and ended up using. At&t also has a cruise package that we could get instead of the above For $100 for the whole trip you would get unlimited talk, unlimited text plus 200 mb data or $50 for just unlimited talk and text, no data
